Thanks for The Longest Day
... let all our members know how elated I am over our great "Longest Day" success. The directors handled all the chaos we could throw them and kept on marching ahead. I had many hands helping me - I can't begin to list them all as I may miss some one, but let me tell you - they were great helpers and we made it through the whole day in one piece. The members actively provided excellent items for our silent auction and desserts. The members bid fervently for the auction items to make the auction a rousing success. And most importantly, we had a fantastic turn out - 43 tables To me, this was a great event and you all surpassed the goals I thought possible. So please give yourselves at big pat on the back for a job well done - you deserve it. Thank you - seems like this is inadequate for the job you did, but THANK YOU!!! You are a great bunch bridge players and I am glad I could share this day with you. Thank you - Lilla Wallace, Coordinator Many thanks to everyone who participated in making this event such a success. Be extra nice to your game directors..  They went way beyond what we ask of them... The silent action was fabulous and made possible by those of you that made wonderful donations.
